How to Recovery ASUS Windows 10

Still, it means your notebook does not equip with ASUS Recovery feature, If the (MyASUS in Win RE) or (ASUS Recovery) option isn’t available in Troubleshoot Page.

Activating ASUS Recovery

ASUS Recovery can be activated through two paths From Settings of Windows 10 OS or clicking F9 or F12 key on the keyboard during boot up. User is able to activate the ASUS Recovery by entering the Windows RE (Windows Recovery Environment). Detail steps are described below.

  • Get started Click Start from the bottom left corner of the desktop and click [Settings].

  •  Click Recovery from the left menu and click Restart now under Advanced startup.  The PC will restart.

  • In MyASUS in WinRE page, click ASUS Recovery

  • A message is prompted as a reminder that the system is about to reset to its factory settings.  Please click [Yes] if confirm to proceed.  Click No to abort the task.

  • Please wait for few minutes until the Windows 10 OOBE (Out-of-Box Experience) is displayed on the screen, which represents the completion of system resetting to its ASUS factory settings.

Activating ASUS Recovery through boot up

Repeatedly clicking the F9 or F12 key on the keyboard when ROG (or ASUS) logo is displayed on the screen during the boot up to enter the Windows RE (Windows Recovery Environment). If PC did not enter the Windows RE and enter the Windows 10 instead, please boot the PC and try again.
