How can I Reset the Night Owl DVR Password

Follow the steps below to reset the password for my Device. Make sure I have the secure code when I received in the Reset Password email available. Click on any step for visual detail.

• Using the device’s mouse, right-click anywhere on the current screen to access the menu bar. Click any icon on the menu bar.

• Then, select “Forgot Password” in the DVR Menu.

• Now locate the Password Reset Secure Code found in the “Reset Password” email.

• After enter the Password Reset Code into the Secure Code field, then left-click the mouse just below the onscreen keyboard. Click OK to continue.

• Next, follow the prompts to create a new password.

• After that, confirm the new password.

• Once the password reset is successful, and depending on the DVR model, it may or may not automatically reboot after the password is reset.

• If the device doesn’t automatically reboot, unplug the DVR power adapter from the back of the device.

• Wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. That’s it.
