Reinstall your Orbi Wi-Fi System
- Launch the Orbi app from a device that is connected to your Orbi Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your username and password and tap SIGN IN.
- The Dashboard displays.
- In the top-left corner, tap the Menu icon.
- Tap NEW SETUP.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to reinstall your Orbi Wi-Fi System.
Reset your Orbi Wi-Fi system to factory default settings
- Make sure your Orbi device is powered on.
- Using a paper clip or similar object, press and hold the Reset button until the Power LED on your Orbi device blinks amber.
- Note: If you are resetting a wall-plug satellite, the ring LED blinks amber.
- Your Orbi device is reset.
How to log in to the Orbi Router (RBR50)
To log in to the Orbi High-Performance AC3000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router and change the settings, you can follow these steps:
- Make sure you are connected to the router’s network, either by Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
- Open your browser and visit http://192.168.1.1
- You should be prompted with a login dialogue.
- Enter the username: admin and the password: password
- Note: If you have already changed the password, use that instead.
- You will now be logged in. If you haven’t yet changed the default password, we recommend that you change it the first thing you do after logging in.
