Steps to Restart a Ricoh Printer

  • On the lower front of the device, flip up the clear cover in front of the red power button. The power button is highlighted in the following diagram:

  • Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The screen will show a message stating the device will shut down in a number of minutes. This varies, but is typically about 4 minutes.
  • Allow the device to shut down by itself. Do not press the power button again, and do not unplug the power cables.
  • Once the printer has fully shut down and the screen has turned off, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button again.
  • Now, Ricoh Printer will restart

  • Press User Tools/Counter.
  • Press and hold down and then touch “System Settings“.

Copier Setting Reset

The copy settings in the UP mode can be reset to their defaults. Use the following procedure.

  • Press User Tools/Counter.
  • Press and hold down and then touch “Copier/Document Server Settings“.
