Your Wi-Fi gateway comes with a default Wi-Fi network name and password. You can change either one.

Use Smart Home Manager to change Wi-Fi info

Good to know: For the best Wi-Fi performance, keep the same Wi-Fi name and password for both network frequencies so you have just one network.

Smart Home Manager
  • Sign in to Smart Home Manager.
  • Select My Wi-Fi.
  • Choose Edit next to the name or password.
  • Select X to clear existing info, then enter a new name or password.
  • Select Save.
  • Reconnect your devices with the updated network info.

Update Wi-Fi info from a device connected to your network

From a device connected to your Wi-Fi home network:

  • Go to gateway settings.
  • In Gateway Status, select Wireless.
  • Scroll to User Network or Guest Network. You may have different network names for each radio frequency being used: 2.4GHz, 2.4GHz Guest, and 5.0GHz.
  • Change network info:
    • For Wi-Fi name: In Network Name (SSID), enter a new network name.
    • For Wi-Fi password: Select Use custom Wi-Fi Network Password, then enter a new password.

  • Select Save.
  • If required, in Access code, enter the Device Access Code from the label on the side of your gateway.
  • Select Submit.
  • Reconnect your devices with the updated network info.
